Fiberglass irrigation drainage systems are advanced solutions engineered to efficiently manage water drainage in agricultural, commercial, and industrial settings. These systems utilize high-quality fiberglass materials, providing reliable and durable water management solutions.

Fiberglass irrigation and drainage system is easy to move, do not cause cracking and penetration problems in traditional canals, and the smooth surface canals also have good water-passing effects.

Material and Construction

Crafted from premium fiberglass materials, these drainage systems offer superior strength, corrosion resistance, and longevity. The use of fiberglass ensures durability in harsh environmental conditions while maintaining optimal water flow and management. This watering system is suitable for installation in farmland water conservancy irrigation, drainage gutter of anti-corrosion workshops.

Functionality and Features

Fiberglass irrigation drainage systems are designed to effectively collect and redirect excess water, preventing waterlogging and soil erosion. Their well-engineered design allows for efficient water flow, aiding in maintaining optimal soil moisture levels for crops or preventing water accumulation in commercial or industrial areas.

FRP Drainage System Advantages

1. The material density of this fiberglass water channels is 1.6--2.1g/cm3, which is about 1/4--1/5 of steel. It has a higher specific strength than steel, cast iron and plastic, and its thermal expansion coefficient is roughly equivalent to that of steel. The thermal conductivity is only 0.5% of steel, which is a good thermal and electrical insulator.

2.  Chemical resistance and long service life. The glass fiber reinforced plastic watering system has the characteristics of chemical corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, aging resistance, light weight, high hardness, and the outdoor service life can reach 50 years.

3.  Low installation, maintenance and moving costs

- The FRP drainage system is light in weight, high in strength, flexible and convenient to handle, and simple to install.

- The exterior does not need to be treated with paint, etc., does not rust, and does not stick to stains.

-  Assembled installation, fixed by bolts, easy to assemble, easy to disassemble, easy to move, saving installation and maintenance costs.

-  The surface of the drainage systems is smooth and bright and easy to clean.

4.  Fiberglass drainage pipes are good for establishing intelligent drip irrigation and watering system projects.

The valve (gate) door material of  FRP irrigation canals is formed by glass fiber integrated lamination, which has high strength, acid and alkali resistance, frost heave resistance, and ultraviolet radiation resistance. This product has a long service life and is easy to operate.

The inlet and outlet valve (gate) gate of the field plot can be controlled by the computer terminal and the mobile phone terminal.

The water level sensor can be configured, and the irrigation and drainage work can be performed automatically by setting the water level height.

When used in conjunction with a mobile recorder, specific rules can be implemented for the PH and salinity of the field water quality, and the water can be changed automatically to reduce the ph and salinity content.

Comparison With Cement & Stone

Compared with fiberglass irrigation and drainage system traditional water channels are formed by artificially dug water channels on the ground, including cement water channels and stone water channels. Among them, the cement canal is quite heavy, and the transportation and construction process requires a lot of manpower, material resources and financial resources. There are still many shortcomings of cement water channels, such as easy to crack. The reasons for cracking are complicated like cracking after freezing in winter; cracking during alternate dry and wet use; resulting in shorter service life of cement water channels and higher maintenance costs. It is easy to permeate with cement ditches, and after cracking, water is lost from the crevices. The surface of the channel is rough, and the resistance to water is relatively large, and the effect of water flow is poor. However, the stone-built water channel, due to the large gap between stones, is more likely to cause water loss at the gap between stones, which will cause long-term losses and poor economic efficiency. Whether it is a cement water channel or a stone water channel, there is a common defect, that is, the location of the water channel is relatively fixed and can not be removed, which greatly limits the scope of its use.

Applications

Fiberglass irrigation drainage systems find applications in:

Agricultural Settings: Used in fields, orchards, and farms to manage excess water and maintain proper soil moisture levels.

Commercial and Industrial Areas: Applied in commercial properties, industrial sites, and construction projects to prevent water accumulation and ensure structural stability.

Fiberglass irrigation drainage systems are integral for effective water management, offering durability, corrosion resistance, and efficient drainage capabilities.

We regard this fiberglass irrigation and drainage system a nice substitute for traditional cement or stone ditches, they are more comparative in the speed of installation, application effects, and easy maintenance. Their ability to maintain soil health and prevent water-related damage makes them essential components in agricultural, commercial, and industrial settings.
