Fiberglass mini mesh grating is a kind of heavy duty FRP grid, also known as small hole fiberglass grating, the grid size is: 19x19mm/38x38mm or 25x25mm/50x50mm. The raw materials for the production of mini mesh FRP grating and ordinary FRP grating are the same. They are all made of resin, glass fiber and filler. The production method is also manual wire drawing, resin pouring and integral molding.

Fiberglass composites consist of at least two different component materials which in the case of 'fibre glass' combine to produce a strong, rigid product. 

Fibre glass makes up a significant portion of the composites used in industry today. In fibre glass products the resin or 'matrix' transfers the shear and the glass fibres resist the tensile and compressive loads.

When using fibre glass composite materials instead of materials such as steel, or timber, there are significant reductions in weight due to the properties of the component materials while providing heavy duty load capacity.

Because it is a combination of materials, a composite product can be designed in specific shapes for different purposes, while providing a number of advantages compared to materials such as aluminium, steel or timber, such as resistance to chemicals, as well as electrical and thermal insulating properties.


Comparison Between Mini Mesh and Normal Gratings

First, the structure is different. The mesh of the small hole FRP grid plate is divided into two layers, while the ordinary FRP grating has only one layer in 38x38mm or 50X50mm, so the small hole fiberglass gratings have heavier bearing capacity and more complex in production, and the price is higher than that of the ordinary FRP grid.

Second, mini mesh FRP grating and ordinary FRP grating are produced by different molds. The production process of mini mesh FRP grating is more complex, and the daily output is relatively lower. The whole plate size of mini mesh FRP grating is less than that of ordinary FRP grating.

The small hole mini mesh glass fiber reinforced plastic grating also has the advantages of impact resistance, no deformation, anti-corrosion, no rust and no maintenance after installation, which eliminates the cost of repeated maintenance and replacement. It is generally used in the car wash, sewage treatment plant, which needs both through holes and filtration.

The application of the ordinary FRP grating is relatively wide and can be used in many industries and places such as working platforms, equipment platform, drilling platform, walkway and other industries in petroleum, chemical electronics, power, paper industry, printing and dyeing, electroplating, marine exploration, sewage treatment and other industries.
