Fiberglass moulded FRP walkway gratings use unsaturated polyester resin (including isophthalic, orthophthalic, vinyl and phenolic and so on) as the base, the fiberglass as the skeleton. Through weaving and pressing or by hand making then heating to finish the products on the metal mold. Fiberglass / GRP Grating Features

The FRP grating catwalks are integrally constructed for a high strength. The specific gravity is 1.8g/cm3. Its specific gravity is only 1/4 of steel, 2/3 of aluminium. FRP grating distributed evenly loading to all parts on it. The strength is 10 times as much as hard PVC, the absolute strength is more than aluminium, reaching the normal steel's level. Fiberglass walkway grates offer lower cost than steel, long service life (more than 20 years), no maintenance, although the initial investment is higher than common carbon steel. So it is more economic in terms of the total benefit. FRP grating resilience, it can make the workers standing comfortable. FRP grating can meet all kinds of use requirements,this structural body can be cut easily as the solid board without being disassembled. 1. Technology of fiberglass cross weaving, resin teeming make the grating obtain max resistance to corrosion.

2. Fiberglass and resin by cross composite molded technology make the whole structure uniformly distribute the load. It helps uniformly bear the load of grating installation and the grating supporting structure and increase the load bearing ability.  

3. Wear-resisting anti-skid surface: the fiberglass gratings with concave surface has the anti-skid effect. The grit surface with quartz sand has even better anti-skid performance.

4. The smooth surface grating and the incline grating make themselves automatically clean.
