There are three types of FRP grating manufacturing process: reciprocating filament winding process, continuous filament winding process and centrifugal casting process.

Reciprocating fiber winding process (fixed length method): In this manufacturing process method, the dipping tank reciprocates with the rotating core mold, and the long fiber glass filaments are placed at a certain oblique angle relative to the core mold axis, and the auxiliary angle (ie The winding angle is controlled by the ratio of the moving speed of the dipping tank to the rotation speed of the core mold, and the translational movement of the dipping tank is controlled by computerized electromechanical. The number of winding layers gradually increases until the designed wall thickness is reached. After winding, the resin in the product is basically cured. After curing, the core mold is removed from the glass steel pipe.

Continuous filament winding process (continuous process): This manufacturing is a process in which the tube passes through a feeding station that supplies resin pre-impregnated roving, chopped glass fiber reinforced plastic fiber and resin sand mixture while in motion. The tube is continuously advancing in the core mold. 

Centrifugal casting process (fixed-length method): In this process, cut glass fiber reinforced materials and sand are fed into a steel mold fixed on the bearing, and an unsaturated resin with catalyst is injected at one end of the steel mold to make It is impregnated with reinforcing materials. Under the action of centrifugal force, the resin replaces the air in the fibers and fillers, thereby manufacturing a dense composite material without pores. Due to the centrifugal force, the inner wall of the tube forms a smooth, smooth and resin-rich inner surface layer. Cured at higher temperatures. The pipe made by this method is also called FRP sand pipe.

- The major FRP grating manufacturing process of FRP grating is completed by the cooperation of manual and mould machine. The specific production process of the grating is as follows:

1. Ingredients: according to the production plan, the resin, glass fiber and filler are mixed in a certain proportion.

2. Pouring material: the workers shall pour the raw materials mixed and configured on the grating mold, and then spread them evenly on the mold with sliding plate. In this process, the raw materials shall be covered on the whole mold surface.

3. Fiber thread drawing: lay glass fiber on the grid mould by pressing layer by layer. The ordinary grating should be laid with about eight layers, and for high load-bearing requirements it can reach more than 10 layers. The purpose of this process is to enhance the strength of FRP gratings.

4. Die pressing: the operation process of compaction of raw materials and glass fiber, which can reduce the number of bubbles in FRP grid and increase the bearing capacity of the grating.

5. Heating and demoulding: after above process is completed, the glass fiber reinforced plastic grate is heated, and then demoulding is carried out after about 10 minutes of cooling time.

6. Grinding: place the grating on a special grinding machine for grinding.

7. Cutting: dimension cutting according to customer requirements.

8. Packaging: the finished FRP gratings can be shipped after packing with cardboard and tape and plastic film.
